Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and 8stations.ai (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who we are

8stations.ai is operated by [operator legal name], [registered address], [company / IČO no.] (the “Operator”). Contact: team@8stations.ai.

2. Eligibility & medical clearance

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the service. By using it you confirm that you are in good health and medically fit to undertake intense physical training, or that you have obtained clearance from a qualified physician. The service is intended for healthy adults only and must not be relied upon by anyone with a medical condition, injury, pregnancy, or any circumstance requiring medical supervision.

3. The service

8stations.ai provides AI-generated performance analysis, predictions, training plans and chat for HYROX athletes, plus optional separate 1:1 coaching by agreement. All output is informational only and is not medical, nutritional, physiotherapy or other professional advice. We are not your physician, coach or trainer (except under a separate signed 1:1 coaching agreement).

4. AI output can be wrong: verify before acting

Our analysis, predictions, plans, paces, weights, benchmarks, field comparisons and chat are produced by automated AI systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for your individual situation. You must apply your own judgement and verify important details before relying on or acting upon any output. Do not use the service for any decision where an error could cause harm.

5. Assumption of risk: you train at your own risk

HYROX and similar training is physically demanding and carries an inherent risk of serious injury, illness or death. Any workout, plan, pace, load, intensity or recommendation you obtain from 8stations.ai is undertaken entirely at your own risk. You voluntarily assume all such risks. Consult a qualified physician before starting or changing any training program, warm up properly, use correct technique, and stop immediately and seek medical help if you feel unwell. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release the Operator from all liability for injury, illness, or any harm arising from training or following our output.

6. No guarantees or warranties

We do not guarantee any particular result, including any improvement in fitness, race time, ranking, or achievement of a goal. The service, including all AI output, data and field comparisons, is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free availability.

7. Your account & acceptable use

You are responsible for your account, your credentials and the accuracy of the data you provide. You agree not to: misuse or disrupt the service; attempt to bypass security, rate-limits or access controls; scrape, reverse-engineer or resell the service or its AI output; upload unlawful or infringing content; use the service to build a competing product; or use it in violation of any law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

8. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans (Athlete and Performance) are billed via Stripe and are charged immediately when you subscribe. There is no free trial. Your plan then renews for successive periods (monthly or yearly, as selected at sign-up) until cancelled. Prices and plan limits may change with notice; changes do not affect the period already paid. 1:1 coaching is provided under a separate agreement.

9. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel anytime from Billing (the Stripe customer portal) and you keep access until the end of the period already paid. Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable, including for partial periods, unused time or after cancellation; we do not provide pro-rata or retroactive refunds, except under our 90-day money-back guarantee (see our Refund Policy) and any mandatory refund or cancellation right you have under the law of your country.

Digital service, immediate access: the service is digital and you receive full access the moment you subscribe. You expressly agree that we begin providing it straight away, so your purchase is final and non-refundable except under the 90-day money-back guarantee. There is no general cooling-off refund for a digital service you have agreed to access immediately, though any right that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.

Consumers elsewhere: wherever you live, you keep any mandatory refund and cancellation rights that the law of your country of residence gives you, and nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) we exclude all implied warranties; (b) we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profit, data, goodwill, or for personal injury, illness or health consequences arising from training; and (c) our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold the Operator harmless from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your training, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Not affiliated with HYROX

8stations.ai is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by HYROX. All race and event marks belong to their respective owners.

13. Changes & termination

We may modify the service or these Terms; material changes will be notified and apply going forward. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. You may stop using the service at any time.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, wherever that is.
